Beneath the Neon: Illuminating Continuity. Breaking Silos. Building a Safety Net That Lasts.
On April 19th from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM, join us for an inspiring morning of connection, celebration, and purpose as Shine A Light Foundation hosts its annual spring gala — a powerful gathering dedicated to transforming how our community responds to homelessness, substance use disorder, and system fragmentation.
This year’s goal is bold: $250,000 to strengthen and expand Continuity Case Management across Southern Nevada. Every dollar raised fuels our mission to build — not borrow — a coordinated safety net that moves individuals from crisis to long-term stability.
At Shine A Light, we believe homelessness is not caused by a lack of services — it is caused by a lack of continuity. Through our IPATH model and specialized programming tracks, we bridge silos between outreach, detox, treatment, housing, workforce development, and long-term support. Our gala reflects that same spirit of integration — bringing together civic leaders, partners, volunteers, and community champions under one roof.
Legacy Award
Justin Jones – Clark County Commissioner
For more than 15 years, Commissioner Justin Jones has been a trusted ally in improving how our community responds to homelessness and behavioral health challenges. From the early days of Freedom House to the formation of Shine A Light, he was among the first county leaders willing to understand and support our Continuity Case Management model.
Through his role on the Criminal Justice Coordination Council and his steady advocacy for coordinated solutions, Commissioner Jones has helped move our region toward a more unified response. We are honored to present him with the 2025 Legacy Award for his long-standing commitment to systemic change.
Fellowship Award
Gaudin Motor Company
From the beginning of our partnership, Gaudin Motor Company has demonstrated what true collaboration looks like. Their leadership, management, and staff have consistently shown up — volunteering, advocating, and investing in the success of our clients and our mission.
Gary and Debbie Gaudin have become not only partners but champions of the “One Community” vision. Their support reflects continuity in action and a genuine commitment to strengthening the system of care. We are proud to recognize Gaudin Motor Company with the 2025 Fellowship Award.
Community Partner of the Year
Sally Moore – City of North Las Vegas
Sally Moore played a pivotal role in bringing Continuity Case Management into active partnership with the City of North Las Vegas. By supporting an 18-month pilot and allowing outreach teams to enroll individuals directly into coordinated care, she helped demonstrate the value of warm hand-offs and system integration.
Her leadership — alongside Jason Lilly and their outreach teams — helped prove that collaboration between city government and nonprofit partners increases stability and long-term outcomes. We are proud to recognize Sally Moore as our 2025 Community Partner of the Year.
The Morning Will Include:
- A Silent Auction featuring exclusive experiences and curated items supporting our $250,000 fundraising goal
- Community Partner of the Year Award honoring an organization that helped move the needle forward in measurable, meaningful ways
- Fellowship Award recognizing a partner who exemplifies collaboration and the breaking of silos

- Volunteer Recognition celebrating those who carry our mission into the community daily

This is more than a fundraiser. It is a statement about what becomes possible when a community aligns around dignity, accountability, and coordinated care.
When you attend, sponsor, or bid, you are not simply supporting a nonprofit — you are investing in a scalable model designed to change outcomes, reduce system costs, and restore hope.
